Paragon Networks Continues Its International Expansion
into Europe and Canada
Brookfield, CT, - Paragon Networks, an innovator
in transmission networking infrastructure for Wireless
Service Providers, continued its worldwide expansion
with the recent announcement of its strategic expansion
into two new geographical markets: Canada and EMEA (Europe,
Middle East, Africa). This expansion is driven by the
company's success in other international markets and
the initial customer acceptance of Paragon's solutions
in these new markets.
"Canada and EMEA are two relatively untapped markets
primed for our backhaul network solutions aimed at mobile
wireless service providers," reported Reini Florin,
Paragon Networks Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing
and Customer Support. "Paragon Networks has enjoyed
tremendous growth in the US over the last three years,
which has enabled us to expand into other regional markets.
In the last six months, we've doubled our North American
sales force, expanded our presence in Latin America,
and launched successful initiatives in Asia Pacific."
Continued Mr. Florin, "Our growing success has
been a catalyst for our continuing international expansion.
Starting with our penetration of the Latin America and
Asia Pacific markets in 2000, Paragon Networks has continued
its ongoing rollout of international sales and customer
support offices in other regions."
The company's expansion includes two strategic appointments.
Joe Ashton has recently joined Paragon Networks as VP
of North America Sales, covering all of the US and Canada.
Mr. Ashton was previously VP of North American Sales
at Accelerated Networks. According to Mr. Ashton, "Paragon
Networks' success has been driven by its commitment
to focus on customer needs. We are building upon the
success we've had with the top US wireless service providers
and will be focusing on bringing value to service providers
across Canada as well."
Another recent appointment is Alf Young who joined
Paragon Networks as Director of Business Development
& Sales for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
Mr. Young was most recently Director of International
Marketing for Westell. "I am excited to have the
opportunity to expand the worldwide presence of Paragon
Networks," stated Alf. "Paragon offers wireless
service providers in EMEA a unique value proposition
to expand their networks, while at the same time, reduce
recurring costs and improve network reliability."
Along with the recent additions in North America and
EMEA, Paragon Networks now has local sales and support
offices in Beijing, Singapore, Mexico City, and Sao
Paulo, Brazil, as well as various locations throughout
the United States and Canada.
