Motia announced today that it has closed a $5 million
round of financing
Pasadena, Calif - Led by Kodiak Venture Partners,
the round also included investment by Axiom Venture
Partners and Carrot Capital.
"Motias technology has the potential to
grow and revolutionize the wireless communications industry,"
said Mike ONeill, Partner, Kodiak Venture Partners,
a seed and early stage venture capital firm focusing
on communications, semiconductor and software opportunities.
"The companys products will certainly attract
attention in the industry, especially as wireless technologies
become increasingly sophisticated."
Motia is developing wireless semiconductors, chip sets
and modules that vastly improve the performance of wireless
services. The company will create new revenues for its
OEM partners in high performance wireless markets.
